What we collect

When you use the letter generator, we collect what you type into the form: the service name, the issue type you select, and any details you add. We do not require an account or email to use the free tool.

How we use it

The information you submit is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your letter. We log request metadata (timestamp, issue type, token counts, success/failure) to monitor cost and reliability — we do not use the content of your letters for anything other than generating that one response.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't use your letter content to train models. We don't share it with the company you're writing to.

Waitlist emails

If you voluntarily leave your email to hear about upcoming features, we store that email and use it only to contact you about FeesShield. No marketing spam, no sharing with third parties, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people use the site (pages visited, buttons clicked) so we can improve it. This is aggregate usage data, not the content of your letters.

Third-party processors

• AI generation: Anthropic or an OpenAI-compatible model provider, depending on configuration — only the text needed to draft your letter is sent.
• Analytics: PostHog.

Data retention

We keep request logs only as long as needed to monitor the service and debug issues, and do not build a permanent profile of you in this v0 version (no account system yet).
